Scout Achievements – 2010 to 2025

My name is A. Anburaj. I joined Nisha Matriculation Higher Secondary School on 15 June 2009 as an English teacher. In 2010, after successfully completing Scout Master training, I initiated the Scout Movement in our school. From its inception in 2010 until 2025, every year, 12 students from our school have consistently received the prestigious Rajya Puraskar Award.

At the International Cultural Jamboree held at Alva’s Educational Campus, Moodubidri, in the Virudagiri district of Karnataka, nine students from Nisha Matriculation Higher Secondary School, along with Scout Master Mr. A. Anburaj, participated and brought great pride to our institution.

This year, from 27 January to 3 February 2025, six of our students took part in the Diamond Jubilee Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar Centenary Celebrations held at SIPCOT, Manapparai, in Tiruchirappalli district, and excelled in various events.

Our students also shone brightly at the State-level Gathering organised at Jain Educational Institution, Chennai, where they excelled in competitions and received both prizes and certificates.

We are proud to state that, to date, 160 students from our school have been honoured with the Rajya Puraskar Award, a remarkable achievement in our institution’s history.

On behalf of the Scouts and Guides of our school, I express my heartfelt gratitude to our School Correspondent and Headmaster for their unwavering support to the Scout and Guide Movement. As both a Scout Master and the Joint Secretary of our district, I take great pride in the progress we have made together.

— Scout Master A. Anburaj, M.A., M.Ed.
